hi every body im a new member and to start things off ive got a subject that is very serious which makes me feel very disgusted with the hampshire and iow boxing association.
a friend of mine has been helping out with the fareham amateur boxing club who are trying to renew their licence. they started about 12 weeks ago and he has been helping out with people from the community by holding pads and even supplying his own equipment to help the club out. then last week a chief official from hants and iow aba comes out to the club and says to the trainer that my friend is not allowed on public premises. because he has been involved in the past with kickboxing and thai boxing which is classes as unlicensed sports. my friend says he is okay with that but they are not happy with just that they want him banned from the hall so he cant even sit down and watch. he takes his niece from portsmouth to fareham twice a week and now is told that he has to wait outside for 2 hours but other parents can sit down and watch. apparently a person has a grudge against my friend from 10 years ago and is flexing his power being on the aba board to make his life difficult please can i have your feedback and is there anything he can do to put a stop to this persecution |

Get your friend an appointment with a solicitor and sue the backside off of the official.
If he's CRB checked the official will not have a leg to stand on. Public premises my a**e!
There is no such thing as unlicensed or licensed sports and this is a clear case of discrimination.

| thanks for that reply i was thinking of sugesting that to him but i just wanted to get a few outside views. ive never herd of somthing so stupid and petty how can these people get away with this i will advise him to seek legal advice |
