Since the Police Clubs GB held two successful championships, interest in the Female ABAS has grown greatly and that has been very positive for the sport as a whole. Participation in the sport has seen an increase and that is reflected in the number of entrants to this year's tournament which has more than doubled in numbers. This however has forced a few changes as it is no longer feasible to host the semis and finals as a one day tournament. The Semi Finals will now take place on Sunday 15th June in Derby. The Finals will remain as an event hosted by the Army in Aldershot on the 21 st June.
